Bangkok – A GG Day 3

(Kao Shan Road, Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Asiatique Riverfront)

About 9am

Have a breakfast at a sidewalk food stall

saw a bus u turn at a busy road~ very geng!

Our original plan is Ancient City

The ancient city is a door opening to the heritage of Thai

How to visit?

Method 1: take the BTS to Bearing station, then take taxi about 20 to 30mins

Method 2: By Bus: Take air-conditioned bus No. 511 (Pinklao-Paknam) to the end of the line. From here, take the mini-bus No. 36. It passes the entrance to the Ancient City.

Special remind: the last station u need to reach is Paknam market and then take bus 36, take bus 511 in opposite of the Panthip Mall NOT INFRONT of Panthip Mall! which is going to the Paknam direction

Why I name this as GG day?

We spend about one and half hours take the bus 511 in wrong direction!!

In the end, we take the same bus back to Kao Shan Road

Khao san road actually is a nice place to stay for tourist

But is inconvenient for those who are shopaholic

Cause it have a distance from Platinum mall, central world shopping mall

Have a nice Pad Thai at the road side

price at the board behind

After settle our lunch

We discuss again for our journey

We keep asking ppl and walk to the direction of pier

After reach the pier

It is just like a taxi boat

We paid 15 baht for the ticket

And debark at pier N9: Grand Palace

The ticket price is 500 baht

Cannot wear short pants and shirt without sleeve

But can borrow at there with 200baht deposit

When we reach there is around 3.30pm

And the place is crowded of ppl

So we choose to take the photo in front of Grand Palace and going to next station directly

Pier N8 is Wat Pho

Ticket fee: 200baht per person

Around 5.30pm

We take boat from Pier N8 to Saphan Taksin (40baht)

Wait for the free shuttle boat at Saphan Taksin pier to Asiatique Riverfront

Our dinner…

Tomyum soup

Green curry

Roselle juice

total 570 baht for 2ppl

Ferris wheel: 250 baht per person, turn 3 rounds

Beautiful night view of Bangkok

Gelato ice cream 100baht for 2 scoops

My favorite passion fruit! And his favorite chocolate banana ^^

Back around 9.30pm

Take the free shuttle boat to Saphan Taksin

Then take BTS to Siam and change to Phaya thai (42 baht)

Phaya thai à ratchaprarop (15baht)
